Today I finally paid my deposit for my room in the halls at Derby University :D
(I also made a much needed post to my blog, but that is beside the point)

It's practically a sealed deal now, all I am waiting for is a confirmation from Student Finance that they received the proof of income and for them to assess my application so I know I will actually be able to survive 4 years (probably) without a steady source of money...

That was £230 I could have done without spending at the moment, but I did need to get the room asap.

I downloaded the gooveshark app for my iPhone a couple of weeks ago
via Cydia as I love using it on my PC. it is the most awesome
streaming service I have found (for free anyway) but I was slightly
disgruntled to discover upon opening the app that it was VIP only :(

Cydia is renowned for it's lack of speed and excessive data rebuilding
so I generally go in to update once a month, which happened to be
yesterday.

So, I have decided to put out the new layout for a road test :D

If no one comes back and says it is not working then I will assume it is all OK :P

The layout is rather different to the old one, there is now an awesome twitter button in the top corner, click it to see what I am doing and to tweet me.
Menu is now on the left, and the feeds are listed on there now as well, more for my benefit than anything else.

Other than that, it is pretty much the same.

I have spent quite a bit more time working on the new theme, it is coming along OK, still a while to go though :)

I have attached a screenshot of the progress, you can see it in action in its current form if you login, click 'Edit my account' and change the default theme for yourselves :)

After reviewing the server logs (again) it seems I overlooked something in the htaccess rule I put in place :(

It transpires that if the address was www.(one of my domains).com then it would not redirect to www.willgresham.com Dx

So I have modified the rule to forward any subdomain through to www.willgresham.com.

Here is the modified rule:

Further to my previous post, all traffic is now set to redirect (301) to www.willgresham.com, the new style should be applied in the next week or so once I have finished all the images and other crap for it :)

All domains now forward to www.willgresham.com with a 301 Redirect:

concertuner.com
lingerin.co.uk

I think I have far too many domains... I need to forget some of them when they come up for renewal (Anyone want to buy one? :P)

After the debate on the TV the other night about this years election, it seems that the Liberal Democrats support is increasing slowly but
surely every day.

No wonder David Cameron is now making a lot of noise that a Hung Parliament is not a good idea and that the only way to vote is now Conservative to avoid another term for Labour...
